Full Moon in Gemini on 24 November 2026
Mercury and Venus are moving forward again, and the Moon is in the sign of words. An evening for saying the one thing that has been waiting for weeks.
The November full moon is in Gemini, and you notice it first on your phone. It rings more. Someone writes who has been silent for a long time, and three conversations are running in your head at once, none of which you have actually had.
The October full moon was heavy and quiet, an evening for letting go. This one is light and restless. It wants things said. And it comes at a good time, because Mercury and Venus, both of which were moving backwards in October, are direct again.
I look at this sky the way I look at a cup: first what is there, then what it means, then what it wants from you.
When exactly is the full moon
The Moon becomes full on 24 November 2026 at 15:54 Central European Time. That is a Tuesday afternoon. In Turkey it is two hours later, early evening.
You will only see it once it gets dark. A full moon rises as the Sun sets, which in late November means late afternoon, and at this time of year it rides high through the whole long night. Everything I describe below applies to the evening of the full moon and the evening after.
The Moon is in Gemini, the Sun opposite it in Sagittarius. I am giving no further degrees this time. It is enough to know which axis this evening lies on.
What a full moon in Gemini is about
Gemini is the sign of words, news and short distances. Its ruler is Mercury. Siblings belong to it, and neighbours, colleagues, everything close by that you talk to every day. And the number two belongs to it: two options, two opinions, two offers.
A full moon brings to light what lies in its sign. In Gemini that means:
- A message arrives. An answer you have been waiting for, or a piece of information that completes a picture.
- A conversation falls due. Usually one you have already held twenty times in your head.
- A choice between two things comes to a head. Two flats, two jobs, two people, staying or going.
- The mind will not settle. Many people sleep badly at this full moon, not from sorrow but because their thoughts keep talking.
- Siblings get in touch. Or you realise that you should.
Where I come from we say: you cannot carry two watermelons under one arm. A Gemini Moon likes to carry both and is surprised to run out of hands. This evening shows which one you have to put down.
Mercury and Venus are direct again
This is the great difference from October. Mercury has been direct again since 13 November, Venus since 14 November. Both are still travelling through the degrees they went back over. This is called the post-shadow. So they are on their way again, but not yet on new ground.
For this full moon it means that what was left lying during the retrograde weeks can now be said and settled. The email you rewrote three times. The talk about money or about the relationship that kept failing on the wrong tone. Good for:
- Having the one conversation that is waiting. One, not five.
- Making a decision for which you have all the information.
- Writing: a letter, an application, an apology.
- Calling siblings or old friends.
Not good for:
- Answering everything at once. A Gemini Moon scatters itself.
- Passing on rumours. What is told this evening travels fast.
- Sending big messages at midnight. Write them, send them in the morning.
- Signing contracts in a hurry. In the post-shadow you still read the small print twice.
Gemini and Sagittarius: knowing or believing
Gemini and Sagittarius form the axis of thinking. Gemini collects: facts, voices, details, what is near. Sagittarius interprets: meaning, direction, what is far. Gemini asks what exactly someone said. Sagittarius asks what it means.
At this full moon the Moon is in Gemini with a hundred separate pieces in its hand. The Sun in Sagittarius wants one single large answer. You know this tension from asking one more person, and then another, before a decision, although you have long known what you believe.
My advice for this evening: stop collecting. You have heard enough. The question is no longer what else you need to know, but what you hold to be right. And the other way round, if you lean towards Sagittarius and carry a finished conviction around with you: test it against one single fact.
A small ritual for this evening
This ritual is for people who stand between two things. It takes two slips of paper, a pen and, the morning after, a Turkish coffee.
- Two slips: On each, write one of the two options as a whole sentence beginning with “I”. “I am staying in the flat.” “I am moving in spring.”
- Read aloud: Read both sentences aloud, slowly, once. Pay attention to your stomach, not your head. With one of the two your voice grows firmer.
- Leave them: Put both slips side by side under an upturned cup and go to sleep. Nothing is decided at night.

- One message: That day, send the one message you have been putting off longest. Only that one.
The ritual promises no more than this. It does not take the decision off your hands. It makes sure you have heard it aloud once.
